Austrian Child Abuser Gets Jailed For Holding His Daughter Captive For 24 Years

April 28th, 2008 by superangrymonkey

I just read a pretty disturbing news article that says that an Austrian man locked his daughter Elisabeth Fritzl away in a basement for 24 years now so that he could sexually abuse her and she may have had up to seven children with her. This is one of the reasons that I truly believe that we still need government because the working theory proposed by market anarchists would not have helped this girl at all. I know that I am not the only one in an uproar about this because on the website where the article is being covered I saw the guy’s face half covered in his picture to protect his identity.

This is one of those cases where I am just hoping for some vigilante justice. Someone this sick and disgusting deserves to be drug out into the street and beat to death publicly and this is also a shining example of why I am a firm advocate of the death penalty. Some people just deserve to die, and Josef Fritzl is one of them.

Here’s the story

Affirmative Action Doesn’t Heal a Gap, It Widens It

April 28th, 2008 by superangrymonkey

Not too terribly long ago I had someone ask me how I felt about affirmative action and I have come up with an answer and my reasons why I have decided on that issue. I do not believe that the government has the right or the privilege to decide for someone who they are and are not allowed to hire. I feel that affirmative action exploits people at the expense of helping out a person who may or may not deserve the help. If we want to live in a society where everyone is equal that means that it is communist. What we should be working on is making sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed or fail and that means that affirmative action has definitely got to go.

Here’s a concept that you human rights advocates may have a difficult time comprehending. What you are advocating is an act of legislation that offers jobs to people who may or may not have worked as hard to get those jobs based on the color of their skin. I don’t know about you but that sounds pretty racist to me. What it really does is widen the gap between the races more and more.

Now I have given you basically the argument that everyone gives when they say they are against affirmative action and now I am going to offer a solution to it. Just because the government doesn’t have the right to tell someone who they are allowed to hire doesn’t mean that a business cannot be dictated by the will of a free market. The private sector and indeed the consumers themselves decide who they are and are not going to do business with. IF we have a company that exclusively hires whites regardless of how qualified minorities that apply for the jobs within the company are you can, and get this because it is important, not give them your business.

Since the basic goal of every businessperson is to make money if you don’t think that eating the loss that is coming from everyone that won’t pay an actual bigot is going to cause them to maybe rethink their hiring methods you are a moron. So I just solved for everyone the affirmative action quandary for everyone. Any questions, class?

Google Defends Youtube From MPs

The Story

MPs is attacking google for not deleting a gang rape video that was uploaded to youtube quickly enough. You’ll forgive me if I think that is sickening in general but I respect that there are people out there who are supporting youtube in this. It isn’t Youtube that uploads videos to youtube and since it is as huge as is it there is no possible way that they can remove all inappropriate content as quickly as some people would like.

Also, Google is supporting the Chinese government’s choice to restrict some Google content. I think that this is totally within their purview. I don’t have a dog in that fight and if the Chinese people want to earn that freedom for themselves then they should do what they have to do and overthrow their government.

This post is now effectively banned in China
