When I woke up this morning I promised myself that I was going to find out how people stay as happy as children and filled with a love and joy for all creation. I was going to go on an internal quest to become content with my little pocket of reality but I started thinking about the Republican Party and how furious they are making me. They deserve to lose the election in 2008 and hand control of this country over to Hillary Clinton. The reason they deserve it is because they abandoned their conservative principles. The GOP neo-cons are no longer for small government and are becoming the opposite populist end of the Democrat coin. They totally have taken whatever moral high ground they could claim by being the limited government party and shit it right down the drain.
How do they justify this and spout off that they are conservative over and over again? I say this because the thought is infuriating to the point where I would almost rather eat Hilary Clinton as president than have any of the Republican candidates as president. Rudy Giuliani seems to me to be just as concerned about looking good on TV as the Hillary he seems to cowardly to really oppose.
I haven’t endorsed any of the presidential candidates as of yet and I’m not going to yet. I say this because none of them match the direction that I would like to see this country go in, not even Ron Paul. His stance of getting out of the war in Iraq immediately is not the one that I view is the correct choice and I’ll tell you why; I do not think that allowing Iraq to become a terrorist run puppet state of Iran is a good idea. I’m not talking about a war with America or a repeat of 9-11 here either, I am talking about whatever dictator crawling to the top of the shit pile over there in Iraq becoming just as much of an oil pirate as Saddam Hussein was planning on being. All of you peace at any price folks need to pay attention to this next bit okay.
If we allow a dictator to control the oil pipeline running through Iraq it will cut off Europe and most of the United States’ allies. You can’t think that this wouldn’t be a crippling blow to the US economy. Are we not in the right as the superpower in the world to ensure that our economy stays afloat? I am all for a petrol alternative but we aren’t there yet and we won’t be for awhile yet, especially in Europe and in other US allies.
Have a nice day
